- In a large bowl, combine flour, yeast, sugar, and salt. Add warm water and olive oil. Mix to form a soft dough. Knead for 5–7 minutes until smooth. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 30 minutes or until doubled in size.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Punch down the dough and roll out on a lightly floured surface into a 12x10-inch rectangle.
- Spread pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a 1/2-inch border. Sprinkle mozzarella, halal pepperoni, bell peppers, red onion, oregano, and basil evenly over the sauce.
- Starting from the long side, tightly roll up the dough into a log. Pinch the seam to seal.
- Slice the log into 1-inch pieces and place cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush the tops with melted butter or olive oil. Sprinkle with garlic powder, Parmesan cheese (if using), and parsley.
- Bake for 18–20 minutes or until golden brown and bubbling.
- Let cool slightly before serving. Serve warm with extra pizza sauce for dipping.
